The couple kicked off their wedding weekend with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. They also took advantage of the occasion to do the most romantic pre-wedding shoot with their amazing photographer Ana Lui. Scroll down to see some of the stunning shots, and all of the wedding details.
All of our couples have fascinating stories which are reflected in the uniqueness of each wedding. As groom Andrew’s job is selecting the very best Spanish wines and distributing them in the USA, a winery wedding was the obvious choice for them. And since bride Christina is a multitalented costume designer for an international event entertainment company, it was always going to be quite the party!
The venue for this winery wedding, Raventos i Blanc, was very special to the couple. The property is not a wedding venue, but was offered to the couple as close friends of the owners Pepe and Susana. Every space had to be adapted and rearranged, always in keeping with the essence of the venue. The Raventos staff were amazingly accommodating, clearing out the whole warehouse to host dinner and dancing, and allowing us to use huge crates of maturing wine bottles as the most beautiful partitions. It was a challenge and we loved every minute of it!
Of course, entertainment was always going to be the order of the day, with Christina’s friends and colleagues from Elan Artists putting on the most amazing show. (You can check out some of our fangirl clips via our Instagram Story Highlights!) And of course, as you’d expect from a winery wedding, the guests were treated to the exquisite wines of the house, Raventos i Blanc, as well as a plethora of other fine Spanish wines, which the guests sampled during the traditional Spanish dinner. It’s safe to say that guests had an authentic experience of the beautiful Penedes.
We could not have pulled off this truly unique wedding without amazingly creative bride Christina, and of course, the most amazing team:
